"We are so honored and excited that the Redding Trade Club would pass us the torch and allow the 20-30 Club to put on such a beautiful family event, and carry on such a great tradition," said Cameron Middleton, 2030 Club immediate past president and parade event chair. "This year is going to be one of the best parades yet." Joe Marsiano is this year's Grand Marshal. Marsiano has been a member of the Trade Club for 33 years, has been a part of the Redding Lighted Christmas Parade for 17 years, and was a founding member of the Shasta Lodge of the Sons of Italy. "Choosing the Grand Marshal is one of the most exciting parts of planning the parade and we are honored that Joe agreed to represent the Trade Club as Grand Marshal this year," Middleton said. Fire Destroys Big Plant Of Sanitary Fruit Co. In City The big plant of the Sanitary Fruit company at Monroe and Crittenden streets was entirely destroyed by fire of unknown origin starting shortly before 12 o'clock last night. The blaze was well advanced when person residing in the neighborhood first saw it reflecting through windows of their homes. They gave alarm, but the flames were beyond control before the firemen could reach the scene. The total loss was estimated at about $125,000 by H. P. Combine ground beef and pesto in medium bowl; mix lightly, but thoroughly. Lightly shape into twelve 1/2inch thick patties. 2. Heat large nonstick skillet over medium heat until hot. Too loud • A Corning resident reported the fire siren was a nuisance due to it being a loud noise. He asked to speak to an officer regarding the noise ordinance. He was advised to voice his concerns at a City Council meeting. • A blue 21-speed Peugeot road bike was reported stolen at the Corning Dollar Tree. • A woman reported someone used her identity to claim her food basket at Corning Christian Assistance. • A black leather purse was reported stolen at the Corning McDonald's on Sunrise Avenue. • A woman reported the theft of three large • The rear and passenger side windows were broken on a vehicle parked on the 19000 block of Reeds Creek Road Sunday night. • Graffiti was reported at the Corning Public Works pump house. • Les Schwab in Corning reported graffiti on the building.
