Shop Downtown Fayetteville for the Holidays! Hot coffee. YUM! 'Tis the season to start shopping and what better place to start than Downtown Fayetteville with the best in holiday shopping and dining! Store owners have selected merchandise specifically with you in mind so make plans this season to shop locally and support your independent businesses this season. Where can we host a party? Remember, our locally owned independent stores and restaurants are the backbone of this community. If you shop this season downtown, outside of the mall and chain stores, those independent stores and restaurants give back 68 cents on the dollar to the community. Chain stores give 25 cents less than that and, if you shop online, nothing come back to Fayetteville and Cumberland County. Think of the good you will be doing by supporting your local shops and the fun you will be having at the same time. I need a present for Dad.
