She is survived by her two children, Jack and Amy, and five grandchildren. She loved being a Pi Phi and spoke often of her happy times at the University of Colorado. Janet was a resident of Olympia Fields, IL. Cynthia Howe Merman '54 and her husband, William, travel a lot to see their many relatives and to see all the continents. She really enjoyed the CU reunion. She lives in Fernandina Beach, FL, and has four daughters, eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Robin McDougal '58 went to France on a bike and barge trip in April 2012 to cycle around the Ille de France, which is an area around Paris about 50 miles. She also went to the Philadelphia Flower Show, Winterthur and Longwood Gardens in March 2012. In July 2012 she did a road scholar trip to Quebec City, Canada, and now takes French lessons. Robin resides in Denver, CO, and has two sons, Neil and John. She has been singing in the St. John's Cathedral choir for the past 35 years. Betty still travels as much as possible. She shares Pi Phi time with senior alumnae at bimonthly luncheons.
