Tiger Heart SigEp a publication for alumni of missouri alpha t sigma phi epsilon Fall 2013 Missouri Alpha Chapter Centennial Celebration April 11-13, 2014, Columbia, Missouri "Delta Omicron was organized on October 1, 1912. This local fraternity from its origin desired to secure a Charter from Sigma Phi Epsilon. The Grand President and Grand Secretary of Sigma Phi Epsilon visited Columbia in December 1913 and on March 12, 1914, the Charter was granted by Sigma Phi Epsilon. The installation took place April 10, 1914." O n April 10, 2014, Missouri Alpha will achieve 100 years of continuous operation. We will mark this historical achievement with a reunion April 11-13, 2014, in Columbia, Missouri. We ask all brothers to start making calls to MO Alpha pledge brothers and classmates. Founding Fathers Lodging will be hosted by the Holiday Inn–Executive Center, Columbia, Missouri. 1.Book your room reservations now by calling the Holiday Inn reservations line at (573) 445-8531 and request the Sigma Phi Epsilon April 11-13, 2014 block. 2.Throughout the weekend the MO Alpha hospitality suite will be open. 3.The centennial celebration banquet will be held Saturday evening, April 12, in the Holiday Inn Expo Center. Friday evening the undergraduate chapter will host an open house at 405 Kentucky, followed by tours of old haunts. The chapter house in the 1950s. Saturday will include an exemplification of the Ritual, a tour of campus, a possible Tiger baseball game, and the Missouri Alpha 100th Founders' Day centennial banquet at the Holiday Inn Expo Center. Other events are still being planned. Registration will be available for the weekend on the MO Alpha Chapter website, http://moalphasigep.com. We will also mail a hard copy registration form for those wishing to pay by check. The cost for the weekend is $100 per person, $1 honoring each of our 100 years. To pay via credit card, please visit the website. We will use the chapter website and e-mail to communicate details regarding the centennial celebration.
