Frances Allison Bachman '54 is a registered
occupational therapist, retired for a number of years
and subsequently has been active in her community.
She was director/coordinator of a local soup
kitchen for five years, served as a citizen reviewer
for the foster care program, and acted as a docent
for a local art museum. She is active in various
church functions and a long-time member of a
book club. Frances also travels with her husband,
Joseph, to visit children and grandchildren. E-mail:

Marjorie Miller Hubbard '57 is active in her
church and serves on the Global Outreach Team
and the communications committee. Marjorie
also volunteers at the Huntsville Botanical
Garden and is president of the Garden Guild. She
lives in Hampton Cove, Ala., with her husband,

Cheryl Hedges Blankenship '68 says she
loves being involved at Anchor Center for Blind
Children in Denver, Colo. "It's an amazing place
that gives hope to the children and their families.
As a DG, I'm extremely proud that our fraternity
had the vision to adopt Service for Sight as our
philanthropy and that DGs around the country
had the commitment to build our four schools
for the visually impaired around the U.S."

Mary Ballou Rogers '75 lives in San Antonio,
Texas, with her husband, Waid. She retired from
her career as a nurse in 2005, but volunteers with
the Cancer Therapy and Research Center where
they have developed a caregiver support group.
She is also an occasional speaker for Women and

Kristin Egeland Horton '83 has been filling the
role of a military Air Force wife for the past 25
years. She is a senior leader spouse/mentor to
younger military spouses. "The role of mother is
the most important to me as I still enjoy children
at home. My oldest son began attending TTU
this fall." She and her husband, James, live in

Tori Routt Gerber '97 married Brandon Gerber
(a 2007 Texas Tech grad) on July 14, 2012. She
says they look forward to their future together
and starting a family of future Red Raiders in the

Storey Rivas Crabtree '05 was an educational
diagnostician in Amarillo before moving to
Hong Kong with her husband, David, for his
work. She says she is getting to know the other
DGs in Hong Kong and it has been great. "It's
amazing how you can find sisters anywhere!"
