Email: zamillang@gmail.com A L U M N N O T E S C reating a legacy takes only moments while benefiting future Lambda Chi generations at Oregon State. You'll make a meaningful difference and help our chapter remain a strong leader in OSU's Greek system. By naming Alpha Lambda in your estate plan, you preserve and extend our shared heritage. Thank you to Edward McGovern '71-867 and Michael Colocado '93-1375 for being our two most recent brothers to join the Col. Ernest Bearss Legacy Society. Ed shared: "Lambda Chi Alpha provided me with opportunities for personal growth, meaningful relationships with others, and creating a bond through support, encouragement, and understanding. And fun, we had a lot of fun! When I set up my trust many years ago, I wanted to donate some of my savings to young brothers needing financial help to remain in college. Now it's important to provide an improved environment for the brotherhood to continue to thrive." Michael shared: "Life moves so fast in your 20s, 30s, and 40s as you transition from college and go through various stages of family, life, and work. It isn't until you reflect on the factors that impacted and shaped who you are and what you've done as you realize your mortality and want to thank those while you can. For me, Lambda Chi Alpha was a key factor, and this is one of the ways to give back, say thank you, and help the next generation." You can designate the Alpha Lambda Association of Lambda Chi Alpha as a beneficiary on any financial account. Simply complete your institution's beneficiary form and state your gift amount. This fast, simple process requires no attorney involvement or changes to your estate documents. Or course, you can also include AΛ in your will or trust if that is a better fit for your situation. Email Bob Jimerson '77-992 at bobjimerson@gmail.com to confirm if you've included Alpha Lambda or plan to. We'll list legacy donors in every future LOGOS newsletter. Bob can also answer questions about legacy gift options to shape the future of ΛXA at Oregon State. Col.
