Eleven Eleven Report Gamma Tau Chapter of Delta Tau Delta university of kansas n Spring 2025 O ur annual Alumni Weekend was held April 25-26, and we had many of our Brothers back for the festivities. To kick off the weekend, Scott Roberts '91 hosted a happy hour at his family's shop in Merriam, Kansas. With over 70 men in attendance, we had great food and drink all leading up to the announcement of this year's Eugene Hibbs Scholarship awards. As we've mentioned in previous newsletters, our undergraduate Brothers consistently achieve high GPAs across Fraternity rankings. So, it's no surprise we had a long list of qualified applicants. The scholarship committee ultimately awarded $3,000 scholarships to Walter Waxman '23, Macade Lewis '23, Sebastian Meriano '23, Canon Edwards '23, and Simon Woodbury '23. On Saturday, we held our annual golf tournament at Eagle Bend Golf Course in Lawrence. It was a huge success! With 128 golfers, we sold out the event and raised over $13,000 to support freshman scholarships. A special thank-you to our event sponsors, BK Katherman '73, Dean Fitori '88, Vision Care Associates, and Stacy Anderson with Reece Nichols Realty. Please mark your calendars for next year's Alumni Weekend on April 24-25, 2026. The event is for both golfers and non- golfers, but if you plan to play golf, please register early! As mentioned in previous newsletters, we are building on our ability to issue scholarships to our members. The Kansas Delts Scholarship Fund through KU Endowment permanently endows scholarships for current and future members.
