Congratulations to our Zeta class on their initiation! Welcome Delta Tau Delta page 2 ACADEMIC EXCELLENCE Gamma Tau Chapter had an exceptional year in academics. We earned a 3.6 cumulative GPA, including 25 4.0s, and our new member class posted an impressive 3.7 GPA. This achievement placed us first among all IFC chapters and fourth overall in KU Sorority and Fraternity Life. In recognition of our academic commitment, we were awarded both the Most Improved Semester GPA Award and the Highest GPA Award in IFC. PHILANTHROPY AND COMMUNITY IMPACT This spring, Gamma Tau partnered with Beta Theta Pi and Sigma Nu to host the Buckets for Luke philanthropy event. Together, we raised over $30,000 to support upgrades to the KU Cancer Center, honoring Luke Karel, a junior in Beta who has courageously beaten leukemia twice during his time at KU. ATHLETICS AND INTRAMURALS Our Chapter also participated in the Chapters for Charity basketball tournament, where our team— Colby Keisling '24, Quinn Westrope '24, Aidan Sullivan '24, Canon Edwards '24, Cole Henderson '24, Jason Cooper '25, and Emmitt Peters '25—took first place, defeating Alpha Kappa Lambda, Phi Gamma Delta, and Theta Chi. Gamma Tau had a strong showing in KU intramurals this year. Our sophomore and senior intramural softball teams earned second- and third-place finishes, respectively. Meanwhile, our basketball team, composed of 2024 initiates, secured third place in a competitive season. MEMBER RECOGNITION We are proud to celebrate Max Krebsbach '24 for his acceptance into the Jennett Finance Scholars Program, one of KU's most prestigious academic and professional development opportunities within the KU business school.
