The Beta Mu Review NEWS ALUMNI Baylor Morrison '13 has just concluded his first year of full- time MBA studies at McCombs School of Business. Baylor is also assisting with the launch of a startup game with Berry Ripe Games based in Austin. The new game product will launch in a 2026 partnership with Nintendo. Prior to entering business school, Baylor worked as a product analyst at various video game studios in Austin, with much of this time employed by Warner Bros Interactive Entertainment. Baylor met his wife of two years, Melissa, at UT. Melissa is employed by Google and they live near Waller Creek in Austin. Email: baylor.morrison@mba.utexas.edu Arthur Gorling '16 married Keely Meloche in Kauai, Hawaii, on September 5, 2024. The couple met at Camp Texas. Groomsmen in the wedding included Lee Cohen '16, Brantley Evans '16, Skyler Frost '16 and Jackson Harris '16. Keely was a Delta Gamma at UT, where she studied biochemistry, and is now in petroleum engineering graduate school at Texas A&M. Arthur works as a software engineer for an oil company. The Gorlings will be moving to Midland. Email: agorling28@gmail.com Richard Sherwood '17 is a third-year medical student at The University of Texas Medical Branch. He is nearing the end of his Galveston Hospital clerkship and looks forward to applying to a general surgery residency over the next year before graduation in May 2026. In addition to his classes, Dick is an active member of UTMB's student-run nonprofit clinic St. Vincent's House, where he serves as a director on the Finance Committee. Dick was elected as Beta Mu's president in 2020-21 and led the chapter during the pandemic. Dick recently attended the wedding of Andre Schillaci '17 and looks forward to several more 2025 Pike weddings. He previously worked in Denver for several years focusing on carbon sequestration technologies for energy extraction. Cole enjoys being back in Austin, where he spends his free time hiking and traveling. Email: cole.snody@gmail.com C ongratulations to our December and May graduates. These 26 Beta Mus have made noteworthy contributions to the chapter as well as across The 40 Acres. Amongst the companies where jobs await several of these graduates are Air Liquide, Chevron Phillips Chemical, Goldman Sachs, KPMG and Walmart. Graduate schools include one medical school, several law school admissions and three completing the Master in Public Accounting program. Best wishes to these brothers for every success.
