THE TIGER SIG Page 3 "I joined Sigma Chi to be a member of something bigger than myself and experience college through leadership and friendships." –Aram Bugadov '27 "I saw the real brotherhood and genuine friendship that the guys have. It isn't a 'frat' but actual relationships. There's also a high expectation for grades. After dropping a fraternity that embodied the opposite of what I stated above, I realized what I was looking for in a fraternity. Sigma Chi seemed like something that I would be interested in, so I went to several recruitment events and liked the guys and their values a lot." –Jack Matteotti '28 "I wanted to find a brotherhood where I could be myself and grow as a person. I have already formed some of my strongest college relationships with my Brothers in the few months I have known them." –Lucas Reaume '27 "I wanted to get more involved at college and this fraternity aligned with my values. I got along with members of the fraternity really well." –Zach Ulrich '28 O ur first full semester as an initiated Chapter has gone very well. All our hard work has finally paid off, as we will be moving back into the 500 S. College Avenue house in the fall. Shortly after we held our first initiation, we were informed that we would be the Chapter to install Delta Tau Chapter at Westminster. This was a huge honor for us, as we had just gone through the same process and understood how special an installation is for a Chapter. On March 9, 2025, we successfully initiated Delta Tau. We couldn't have done this without our amazing kustos, Jase DeCota '27, for making sure this initiation went smoothly. We would also like to thank all the alumni who came out to support this initiation. They were the reason this was possible. We also welcomed a pledge class of our own. Aram Bugadov '27, Lucas Reaume '27, Lucas Bonnegent '28, Zach Ulrich '28, Noah Schuette '28, Jack Matteotti '28, Jake Studer '28, and Kadon Konecnik '28 were initiated on April 12, 2025. We would not have been able to do this without the efforts of our recruitment chairman, Vincent Paino '27. We thank him for finding these Brothers and making sure they fit the Jordan Standard. On top of this, our magister, Benjamin Boyack '26, and assistant magister, Simon King '27, helped these guys through pledgeship into brotherhood. Even with these important initiations going on, Xi Xi Chapter is still focused on academics. We finished the fall 2024 semester with a 3.4 Chapter GPA, which placed us sixth among the University of Missouri's IFC. We are always striving for improvement, and our scholarship chairman, Harrison Lingle '27, has been holding multiple study hours a week for Brothers to go and get work done. We are striving to get a 3.5 Chapter GPA this spring semester. Finally, Xi Xi Chapter was recognized with four top awards at the recent Mizzou Office of Fraternity and Sorority Life (OFSL) Honors Night ceremony.
