We've adapted to new financial structures, operational models, and social engagement strategies while continuing to represent Men of Distinction. This marks our first year off campus as we await university approval for our new on- campus house. Rather than focusing on the drawbacks of being off campus, we've embraced the opportunity to use our resources creatively and explore new avenues to strengthen our brand. We've made efforts that will continue to benefit us once we return to campus. Some of these include: • Hosting innovative social events • Organizing a campus-wide suicide awareness walk in honor of our eternal brothers (which drew over 500 attendees and sponsorships from five local businesses) • Continuing our brotherhood retreats • Establishing a partnership with the softball team • Educating the chapter on its long-term vision • Creating a strong community at our temporary off-campus residence We recognize that we still have work to do—particularly when it comes to alumni engagement and setting high standards for our active members. In this newsletter, you'll find an alumni survey. In a few months, we will follow up with a grassroots initiative designed to foster alumni involvement and strengthen our community. The undergraduate chapter continues to reestablish leadership and motivation, which has been a challenge due to the transition off campus and the complexities of organizing a cohesive group. Despite this, our members remain actively involved in Tier 1 campus organizations such as the Student Association, New Maroon Camp, and the Humane Society. They also participate in career-focused clubs and local churches and serve as sorority house boys. Academically, they are pursuing degrees in more than 10 different fields and concentrations. Our identity as a diverse, welcoming community that empowers members to be their authentic selves remains a guiding principle we strive to uphold through example. The housing corporation is actively working with our architect and the university to get the new house plans approved. Meanwhile, the Board of Governors is collaborating with the chapter to increase our average chapter size from 45 to 55 members. This growth is essential for breaking ground on the new house and ensuring long- term sustainability. Your continued support through action or by staying informed is deeply appreciated. We encourage you to engage in our initiatives and help enhance the value of being an Alpha Chi alumnus. Let's come together to be the ones to give back and build something enduring instead of waiting for someone else to provide the solutions.
