Epsilon Calls Epsilon Chapter of Alpha Xi Delta • University of South Dakota • Spring 2025 A s I step down after five incredible years as president of Epsilon Chapter's Alpha Xi Delta Corporation Board, I find myself reflecting on this journey with immense gratitude. Serving in this role has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life, filled with challenges, triumphs, and most importantly, the unwavering support of an amazing team. When I first stepped into this position, I could never have imagined the obstacles we'd face— especially the uncertainties of COVID-19. The pandemic tested our resilience in ways we hadn't expected, forcing us to adapt, innovate, and lean on one another more than ever before. Through it all, I witnessed the strength and dedication of our board members, alumnae, and active chapter members who came together to ensure our chapter remained strong, connected, and thriving. We prioritized the safety and well-being of our members while ensuring the traditions and values of our sisterhood endured. From virtual meetings to creative fundraising efforts, we found ways to keep our mission alive and provide a supportive home for our sisters. Though it wasn't always easy, the experience reaffirmed the power of sisterhood and the importance of our collective commitment. As I transition out of this role, I do so with full confidence in the future of our corporation board. The foundation we've built together is strong, and I know that the next generation of leaders will continue to uphold and enhance our legacy. While I may be stepping aside from the presidency, my love and dedication to Alpha Xi Delta remains steadfast. If you are interested in serving on the corporation board, please reach out to a board member at axid.epsilon.corpboard@gmail.com to learn more! Thank you to every board member, house corporation volunteer, and chapter member who has made this journey so meaningful. Your support, collaboration, and passion have made all the difference. I am so proud of what we've accomplished together, and I look forward to cheering on the continued success of Epsilon Chapter in the years to come. The moment I walked into Alpha Xi Delta, though, I felt an incredible sense of calm and instantly connected with the members. Everyone made me feel like I was already part of their family. I'm especially grateful to my recruitment guides, Keara and Natalie, for their support and for making the experience so memorable." See a full list of new members on page 4!
