The Beacon 2 D elta Kappa Chapter has built a legacy of excellence, brotherhood, and service, making a significant impact both on and off campus. Our chapter continuously strives for academic achievement, philanthropic success, and deep involvement in the OU community. ACADEMIC EXCELLENCE One of our greatest accomplishments has been raising our chapter's GPA, reinforcing our commitment to academic excellence. By fostering a culture of accountability, study sessions, and mentorship, we have seen consistent improvement, ensuring our members excel in the classroom while maintaining a strong presence in campus life. Our members' high GPAs have set them up for future job opportunities. Hayden Hunter '22 stated, "I am grateful for my ATΩ brothers for consistently pushing me and holding me to a high standard. This has led to my academic success and is helping me pursue job opportunities." Delta Kappa Leads the Way Recent Activities at OU We are excited for Hayden and other members who have amazing opportunities ahead. PHILANTHROPY EVENTS Philanthropy is a cornerstone of our fraternity, and we take pride in hosting impactful events that support meaningful causes. Gatorfest, one of our most recognized fundraisers, brings the campus together in a fun and competitive way. This event involves running a 5K while raising money for the Wounded Warrior Project, supporting veterans and their families. Another major event, Taumorrowland, is a festival-style experience benefiting the JED Foundation, which focuses on mental health awareness and suicide prevention. Meanwhile, Cuts for Cancer involves members shaving their heads for cancer patients, furthering our commitment to service and giving back. CAMPUS ENGAGEMENT Beyond our own philanthropy, ATΩ members are deeply involved in other major campus- wide charitable initiatives. Many brothers take active leadership roles in the Oklahoma Dance Marathon, which raises funds for the Children's Miracle Network, demonstrating our passion for making a difference in children's lives. We also have strong participation in University Sing and Scandals, two of OU's most prestigious musical and performance competitions. These allow us to showcase our creativity, dedication, and teamwork. We take pride in our competition and showing the university the kind of men we are. Through our commitment to academic achievement, philanthropy, and campus involvement, Alpha Tau Omega at OU continues to set the standard for what it means to be a true campus leader. Our brotherhood is not just about tradition, it's about making a lasting impact within our fraternity and in the greater OU community. Fraternally, Nick Gates '22 President Members of ATΩ's Greek Basketball Association team compete in the house backyard. These games, hosted at different houses, bring members together as they competed against other fraternities at OU and even OSU. Delta Kappa brothers gather for our fall philanthropy event, Gatorfest. Chapter Goals Increase campus involvement and leadership presence. Elevate our philanthropy and fundraising impact. Improve brotherhood development and academic success.
