I am pleased to announce the completion of another wonderful year for Delta Chi at Alabama. Many great achievements and events have occurred throughout the past year. WORK HARD, PLAY HARD For starters, Delta Chi held a GPA of 3.21 for the spring 2024 semester, which was a top 15 GPA and higher than the IFC and all-Undergraduate men averages. We have maintained our status as one of the elite Fraternities on campus that can provide a fun experience for members while also preparing our Brothers well for the future, which we have accomplished through organizing numerous events and inviting guest speakers and on-campus organizations to our House to speak to our members. COMMITTED TO SERVICE Regarding philanthropy, our Chapter has made great efforts to continue to raise money for charitable organizations such as the Jimmy V Foundation, Delta Chi's national philanthropy. In all, we have raised more than $8,100 for various organizations this year. We were paired with Alpha Delta Pi for Homecoming in the fall, where members participated in events like dodgeball and flag football while helping the women prepare their float and front yard decorations. GROWING DELTA CHI Through the fall 2024 new member period, Delta Chi set a standard on campus for upholding a safe and responsible experience. New Member Educator and newly elected President Hayden Delisi '25 did an incredible job and was commended by the Interfraternity Council for his dedication and detailed work on numerous occasions. We initiated 54 members who will be great additions to our Chapter. FOOTBALL IN FOCUS The football season with our new head coach, Kalen DeBoer, has brought plenty of excitement and faith to our Brothers. The tailgates at the House and on the Quad have been very fun for Brothers, friends, parents and Alumni who have come out to enjoy them. The future is very bright for Alabama football and for our great Chapter. This has been an incredible year for Delta Chi at The University of Alabama, and we have made great strides in our efforts to improve our Chapter brick by brick each year.
