T H E OL D G OATS RE TU R N W e hope our latest issue of The Counselor finds you and your families well. Alabama Chapter of Delta Chi continues to make an impact on campus with a strong Chapter focused on academic excellence, philanthropic involvement and recruiting the next class of leaders. When you are able, we encourage you to stop at the House anytime. We appreciate all Brothers and friends who have visited the Chapter House throughout our most recent football season and other travels to Tuscaloosa. BONDS REMAIN UNBROKEN Recent Chapter Activity F or the 18th time since our initial get- together in October 2019, the "Old Goats" met for lunch in October. Sixteen Brothers made the trek to Tuscaloosa for the second time this year. First, we toured the new and outstanding UA Welcome Center and beautifully renovated Bryce Hospital Museum. Then, we enjoyed a fabulous lunch at the House and visited with actives as "A" TJ English '26 gave a tour of the house to Old Goats who had not been there in a long time. We want to give a huge shoutout to House Director Debbie Kober. Last spring, she was recognized as the 2024 "Clara Trawick House Director" of the year for the entire UA Greek Back Together as Brothers system! Congratulations, Debbie! The Old Goats are delighted that YOU are Delta Chi's Director. We were especially pleased that Dennis Kent '72, retired USAF fighter pilot, was back in Alabama (Dothan) from his retirement haven of Reno, Nevada, to join us for the first time! Michael Mazer, who entered the ministry and has lived for many years in New Jersey, joined us for the second time. Perhaps the best news from this outing is that Debbie actually invited us back in spring 2025! It's exciting to see the bonds forged during your time as an Undergraduate continue far past graduation through regular luncheons, trips and other meaningful gatherings throughout the years. Check out the recap of the most recent Old Goats meeting in this issue. Thank you again for your continued support of our Chapter. In the Bond, Alumni Board of Trustees
