Alpha Mu has enjoyed a wonderful year filled with much excitement. Recruitment was strong this fall with record numbers of potential new members. We once again have 100 women living in the House, which has increased our expenses and the need to keep our home maintained. To ensure our House remains beautiful, we plan to undertake a spruce-up project in every common room in the house by the end of 2026. Check out our timeline for these projects, as well as a quote from our interior designer below along with some photos of her work. As promised, we have kept our housing bills reasonable but need to make headway on paying down our mortgage and planning for and laying the groundwork for a future remodel. It has been 10 years since the last renovation, and we will eventually need to complete another one to ensure a bright future for Alpha Mu. In other news, Theta remains a strong, top sorority at Mizzou, with women in leadership positions both in the chapter and on campus. We're pleased to share that the chapter won Homecoming! Read an update from Chapter President Alli Biver '21 on page 2. As the year comes to a close, we look forward to all that we'll accomplish in 2025! Loyally in Theta, Amy Blunt '92 President, Facility Corporation Board amyblunt@hbstrategies.us "In designing the Kappa Alpha Theta spaces, I wanted to add extra dimension to their rooms. They had a wonderful foundation; however, I wanted to incorporate texture, color, and a bit more excitement. For example, simply adding a trim to the curtain panels to tie into the color scheme helped create more elements to attract the eye. In doing so, it created a warmer and more inviting feel. It has been a true honor to work for and alongside the ladies of Kappa Alpha Theta." –Megan Bounous Interior designer and owner of Bounous Designs.
