Friday, August 16, 2013 – Daily News Award Nomination Form Gene Penne Award for Business and Community Leadership The Chamber Spirit Award This award will be presented to a current or former representative of a business member of the Red Bluff-Tehama County Chamber of Commerce who has demonstrated exceptional personal committment to the Red Bluff and Tehama Coutnry business community. The award, first presented in 1998, is named for Gene Penne, a former Red Bluff civic leader and Chamber President whose leadership and contributions to the community set the standard for the award's recipients who have followed. The recipients include Dan Cargile, Orville Jacobs, Kevin Brunnemer, Ron Clark, Gary Napier, Bill Moule, Marshall Pike, Cindy Brown, John Yingling, and Bill Cornelius. Presented to an individual who has inspired, motivated and mobilized other with his or her ideas, character, hard work, leadership by example, cooperation, follow-through...and results. Last year's recipient was Irene Fuller!
