\\\\\\\\\\\\ OUR COMMUNITY IMPACT \\\\\\\\\\\\ Taking Gamma Gamma Social Service and Philanthropy to a New Level! To begin this year, during our recognition dinner for receiving our 27th True Merit, the ΑΤΩ National representative mentioned that our philanthropy was the weakest section of our report, since we only raised $900 as a Chapter this previous year. As a chapter, we took that personally. We made it our goal to make the philanthropic aspect of our Gamma Gamma Chapter the best it has ever been. To start, we immediately kickstarted our philanthropic do- nations via a silent auction on Homecoming weekend, raising $4,021. As the Social Services chair, I began dedicating my time to creating the brand new Gamma Gamma Signature Event, Carmine's Convoy. Carmine's Convoy will go to the Thomas Reives '08 nonprofit Rook's Books Resources to benefit NICU departments at select hospitals. This signature event entails a weeklong philanthropic week with a va- riety of events partnering with each of the Rose-Hulman sororities (ΑΟΠ / ΔΔΔ / ΧΩ) throughout the week leading up to the main event. To finish the week of partnered philanthropic events, the chapter will participate in a police escorted 75-mile trek from the Chapter House in Terre Haute to the Riley Children's Hospital in Indianapolis. As of recently, we have acquired a $5,000 donation towards Carmine's Con- voy that could evolve into a title sponsorship for the event. As a chapter we ended the fall quarter with the Annual 24-Hour Gam- ing Marathon (which raised an additional $5,090) bringing our year-to -date philanthropic donations to $9,111, excluding the event donation of $5,000. With the recent philanthropic improvements, this is leading the Gamma Gamma chapter in a great trajectory to, once again, re- ceive True Merit this upcoming year. For the fall quarter, as a chapter, we completed a total 891 service hours, averaging 12.5 hours per brother thus far. These service hours are, once again, trending signifi- cantly above our annualized goal. I could not be prouder of the chapter for the work they have done to assist me in this push for a step change in our philanthropic focus thus far in the 2024-2025 school year. I am excited to see what this spring brings for the chapter and the push to continue giving the opportuni- ties for the Gamma Gamma chapter to excel in all areas of social ser- vice and philanthropy. Logan Faulkenberg '26 Social Service Chair The first event: "Dunk-a-Tau" with ΑΟΠ The second event: "TacΩ Tuesday" with ΧΩ The third event: "Demo With Delta" with ΔΔΔ.
