Delta Upsilon 2 A fter a whirlwind year that saw our undergraduate brothers facing an earlier- than-expected end to our lease of 801 Walnut, heroic efforts to secure a much bigger house, and an intense clean-up and refurbishing, the brothers officially moved into 721 Comstock, owned by Sigma Phi Epsilon, right next door to 711. While we are once again in a short-term lease, there is a dedicated alumni team working to secure our 'Forever House' to ensure DU continues to be the leading fraternity on campus for the long term. Special thanks to Ethan Gunther '24, for giving us an early heads-up on 721 Comstock, as well as James Moore '26, Will Broad '26, and Jobe Hause '26, who spent much of the summer moving furniture, painting, cleaning, and landscaping the new house. In addition to their efforts, DUSU Housing Corp partnered with SigEp National Housing to tackle several projects this summer including a new boiler, new windows, wall repairs, replacement of ceiling tiles and light fixtures, installation of treads on stairs and landings, renovation of the kitchen and basement, improvements to life and safety systems and a host of other facility upgrades. Because 721 Comstock has a higher expense base, we needed increased participation from the undergrads to make it work. Once again, they came through with flying colors, nearly doubling last year's run rate: out of 78 returning DUSU brothers, 41 are living in and over 60 signed up for the meal plan! Most of the composites and other DU historical items have been installed – we encourage all alumni to come by and see the new house! Fraternally, Mark "Minty" Linnan '85 President, DUSU Housing Corp. The Move from 801 to 721 DU IS BACK ON COMSTOCK AVENUE Brothers move into 721 Comstock.
