Lawrence F. Partesotti '67 and his wife, Susan, have been married
since 1970 and are both retired. She was an AXO at Alabama. The
couple have two daughters and moved to Huntsville in 2009 after
living in Ocean Springs, Miss., for 40 years. Lawrence was a program
manager in shipbuilding and Susan was an educator.

James E. Hedgspeth Jr. '68 is in his 37th year in the district attorney's
office. He spent the first 18 as DA and the remainder as fiscal officer.
He and Donna bought property in Mentone 13 years ago and built
their retirement home there. They still have one condo in Tuscaloosa
for football and basketball games and drama department plays. Their
daughter, Claire, has blessed them with two lovely granddaughters,

Marvin C. Cobern '69 is retired but staying active with volunteer and
church activities. He and his wife, Debi, adopted Debi's great niece when
her father died, so they now have a 10-year-old girl in their home in

Alton "Tony" Brown III '72 completed nine-and-a-half years of
service on the Board of Directors of the LXA Educational Foundation on
December 31, 2023. He resides in Mobile, Ala.

Dr. Daniel W. McNeil '74 moved to Gainesville,
Fla., and is now an endowed professor and Chair of
the Department of Community Dentistry and Behavioral
Science in the College of Dentistry at the University of

Timothy P. Vaughn '75 is enjoying retirement and his granddaughter,
who is one and a half. He serves as Board Chairman for the Cystic
Fibrosis Foundation, is a local election official, and is a proud Knight for
the Knights of Columbus. He participates in yoga five days a week and is
a hobby beekeeper. Timothy lives in Huntsville, Ala.

Thomas E. Lawhon '78 is married to Terry, who has an adult son and
daughter from a previous marriage. Thomas is now a retired American
Airlines pilot and former Navy pilot. He is originally from Hamilton,
