O N W A R D A N D U P W A R D O N W A R D A N D U P W A R D U N D E R G R A D U A T E S H A R E R E C E N T S U C C E S S 3 M y name is Braedon Waite, AΦ2029, and I am currently serving my second semester as High Alpha. I followed my older cousin, Piers Waite AΦ1968, to Alpha-Phi and have never looked back. I was initiated as a member of the first spring class in many years in 2022. What brought me here was the unique connection and bond between brothers. I can truly say this Fraternity has helped me grow as a man, a leader, and a servant to others. This year, we had 35 brothers achieve dean's list honors by earning a GPA of 3.5 or above; nine also earned president's list honors with a 4.0. Our current associate members are working hard in study halls to continue our academic success. Last January at the High Alpha Summit, we received the Mason's Circle trophy because 100% of our members donated to the Lambda Chi Alpha Educational Foundation. We routinely volunteer at the West Alabama Food Bank and campaign every November for Movember to help raise money and support men's health issues. We also plan on hosting a blood drive with the Red Cross this semester, and the chapter is very involved with other Greek organization's philanthropy events. This fall, we have an associate member class of 33 young men that look forward to becoming members of the brotherhood. We currently have 150 undergraduate brothers, and we only plan to grow more in the coming years! Throughout my time here, and specifically this year, we have accomplished so many goals.
