5 Aidan Page Rockhurst University – Sports Management Not only is Aidan an exceptional athlete, but his willingness to uplift and support other students, coupled with his outstanding athletic abilities, also makes him a role model within our school community. We will miss you and wish you the best of luck next year! –Krista Meisch, advisor Kajana Price Howard University – Pre-Nursing Kajana is one of the kindest students I have ever had the opportunity to teach. In addition, she possesses a keen sense of humor that cannot be understated. I know she will have many successes going forward, and I wish her the best in her pursuits. –Lawrence Meier, advisor Mason Rack University of Kansas With his fancy cars and savoir-faire, Mason has been the cool "big brother" in our advising group. In addition to learning auto mechanics, he not only is an exceptional pianist but now also writes original compositions. We are excited for him as he starts his college journey, and hope that he will stop by and visit us when he is at KU next year. –Sonja Czarnecki, advisor Mia Rasmussen Chapman University – Documentary Filmmaking and Editing Mia, you are such a talented, mature, and genuine human, and we have all been blessed with having you in our advising. We are so excited to follow your journey as you move on to your next season in life. Good luck in college, go take on the world; you will do great things! – Brian Rios, advisor Cole Shumaker Kansas State University – Architecture Cole's positivity is contagious, and I have so appreciated his playful, happy nature in advising. Cole has a light within him that illuminates life and draws attention to all the things around us we can be thankful for. We will really miss you and your energy at Seabury, Cole! –Amanda Lovett, advisor Hayden Slough University of Tulsa Hayden, for all the amazing ways you are you, thank you. Thank you for modeling for your peers what it is to be authentic, kind, energetic, and to have a healthy sense of sarcasm. We will miss you badly! Love college, and love everything about this next rite of passage. You'll live it to its fullest, we're sure. –Amanda Lovett, advisor Drake Spurlock Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology – Computer Engineering Drake Spurlock did not just become an Eagle Scout; he has always epitomized the scouting spirit. He has a powerful orientation toward fairness and justice. He has a tender heart but unrelenting principles, and he has no tolerance for cruelty, lawlessness, or cruel behavior. Drake is also incredibly loyal—to friends, family, and institutions. What an incredible thing to watch this boy grow over seven years into a young man of great potential. Good luck in all your endeavors, Drake! –Don Schawang, advisor Alexandra Terry Saint Louis University – Neuroscience Alexandra is a wicked smart, motivated, sensitive, young woman with an incredible work ethic, placing her academic ranking above most. Alexandra has led by example in our advising group, showing what moral and emotional strength can look like in the face of personal hardship. Whatever Alexandra ends up doing, I know she will have a positive impact on those around her. We will miss her dearly! –Laura Porter, advisor Spencer Timkar University of Kansas – Engineering In his time at Seabury, Spencer became a great communicator, sought out leadership roles, became active in all things Seabury, and his compassionate, direct manner for the younger students was a treat to watch. We celebrate this amazing young man as he heads to KU to continue his world domination. We will miss you so much and we look forward to having you come back to visit us. –Margie Lawrence, advisor Eve Tuckel Johnson County Community College – Culinary and Hospitality Eve is living proof that good things come in small packages! She is funny, hardworking, creative, beautiful, and strong. Today, we celebrate this amazing young woman who plans to train in hospitality management and go to culinary school. Congratulations on all that you've done, Eve, and we look forward to watching you shine your light wherever you go. You will be missed! –Laura Porter, advisor Phoebe Ulbrick School of the Art Institute of Chicago Ever since middle school, Phoebe has had a sense of adventure—she was one of a handful of seventh graders who came along on the first BSA international trip to China. Since then, she's literally been around the world and expanded her intellectual and artistic horizons too. Creative and entrepreneurial, Phoebe will thrive at the Art Institute next year! While we will miss her sunny smile next year, we'll look forward to hearing about her next adventures. –Sonja Czarnecki, advisor Miles Whisenant University of Oklahoma It's been exciting to watch Miles' mastery on the soccer field even while overcoming a serious shoulder injury. We already see the strong young man he is becoming and with his quiet, steely determination at hand, he will certainly create a wonderful future for himself. Don't be a stranger and come back to visit when you can! –Margie Lawrence, advisor Xiang Xiang Zhang University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign – Physics Xiang is not only intellectually gifted beyond compare, but he is also witty and has a robust sense of humor. His witty retorts and charming smile will be sorely missed and fondly remembered.
