The Quartzsite Women's Club, as part of the GFWC Inter-
national Organization has had a year of successful events
resulting in generous donations to many local groups:
Financial donations were made to the Quartzsite Ele-
mentary School 8th grade field trip; Dust N Denim 4-H
to purchase animals for La Paz County Fair project; the
Quartzsite Improvement Assoc. (QIA) Building Mainte-
nance Fund; the new Girl Scout Troop to purchase uni-
forms and badges; our local firefighters call to help with
the Spencer Hess Family Medical needs; and donations to
Carol's Closet.
The Quartzsite Women's Club proudly makes these an-
nouncements as they occur as part of our community Ac-
tion efforts. New members are welcome. Inquiries and

The Quartzsite Women's Club couldn't be more pleased to support the leaders
of our new Girl Scout Troop. Funds received from the Clubs annual Ladies Tea
in February provided a check of $1000 for the troops use.
