Once achieved, a sign is created and posted by ADOT. They also provide safety vests and the blue bags to be picked up. You can ask questions about leases, managers, owners, evictions, dimin- ished amenties and services, time limits for notices to vacate, park rules, discrimination, mail delivery, and much more. Anyone who owns a recreational vehicle in an RV park, such as a fi fth wheel, trailer, motorhome, or park model, AND has resided there for more than 180 consecutive days is protected by the laws that AAMHO (Arizona Association of Manufac- tured Home Owners) helped pass. AAMHO, our only liaison to the Arizona legislature, recently got a law passed to protect seniors in manufactured housing from heat- related deaths. They are also work- ing on rent caps for seniors, man- datory training for managers, and criminal background checks for RV park staff.
