F all 2023 was historic for Delta Kappa. To start, we had a 370% increase in funds raised for philanthropic events compared to the 2022-23 academic year. This is thanks to members such as our philanthropy chairman, Raff Brown '21, who put many hours into improving ATΩ's influence and presence on campus. Many of our members also participate in events such as OU Dance Marathon, The Big Event, and University Sing (U-Sing) as well as volunteer hours with the Norman Animal Shelter, Oklahoma Blood Institute, and Air Force and Army National Guard. Our next big philanthropy event is "ATΩ's Bravest vs. Finest," where we will be teaming up with the Norman fire and police departments and hosting a charity basketball game at the chapter house on Saturday, April 27. All proceeds from this event will go to the Tunnel for Towers Foundation, which supports American heroes by providing affordable housing. Outside of our philanthropic efforts, we also recognized some of our valued members for the dedication they have shown to the chapter. • John Noel '20 was awarded the Outstanding Greek Senior of the Year award for his hard work through difficult times as Delta Kappa president from December 2022 to December 2023. • Ethan DiPerro '23 received the Outstanding Greek New Member of the Year honor for his leadership abilities as a new addition to our brotherhood. • President Sam Clay '21 accepted the Bronze Level of Excellence from the university's Interfraternity Council for the work we are doing to benefit Greek life and campus as a whole. We can't wait to finish the 2023-24 school year strong, and we are looking forward to what 2024-25 will bring!
