Zeta Psi Chapter 2 Building Bonds Every Day ZETA PSI'S RECENT EVENTS AND ACCOLADES T he new house has brought an exciting time for our chapter as we've transitioned back into the space and utilized it to build on our biggest strength: our brotherhood. Chapter Growth We currently have 134 undergraduate members. Recruitment Chairman Riley Ellis '25, Magister Luke Wheatley '23, and I worked hard this past semester to plan and execute recruitment and pledging. We initiated 32 new members in our fall 2023 pledge class, and we anticipate a large spring class. Recent Accomplishments We won a Blue Peterson Significant Chapter Award—the 14th straight, which is the second-longest streak of any chapter internationally. Zeta Psi and Alpha tied for highest score among the Blue winners, with both of us a mere 0.5 points away from gold. Regarding academics, we currently hold a GPA of 3.45—an improvement that now ranks us third amongst all IFC fraternities. Homecoming Our chapter paired with Kappa Alpha Theta for Homecoming. Led by Campus Relations Chairman Cole Kocher '26 and Social Chairman David Hornback '24, we had an amazing, event-filled week. These events included float making, Sigma Chi and Theta trivia, cookouts, and more. The week was capped off with an awesome tailgate full of alumni, family, and friends. Additionally, out of the five total men included, brothers Evan Phelps '25 and Ryan Wilkins '25 were selected to be a part of Homecoming court. Derby Days Chairmen Alex Shewmaker '25 and Matthew Smith '25 had another amazing year full of events. Philanthropy Efforts At Shave a Sig and Night at the Races, eight brothers volunteered to shave their heads and raised more than $2,000 while 20 brothers volunteered to perform skits which raised another $2,000. We also brought back the Callathon, which was a huge success and raised more than $7,000. In total, we raised more than $20,000. Thank You for This Opportunity, Alumni! This past year was a tremendous success overall. We look to build on our progress while utilizing the new house to continue bringing in strong pledge classes as we reestablish ourselves on campus. We are extremely grateful for the hard work and financial support of our alumni, which has played a crucial role in our current success.
