hile representing the AVC at SigEp's biennial Grand Chapter
Conclave in San Antonio, Texas, Chuck Stegman '81 met
with HQ Director of Expansion Adrian Galera, District Governor Joel
Saslaw, Chris Gassman '04, and Chris Bittman '85 to advocate
for the potential return of SigEp to CU in fall 2025. If that were
to happen, the earliest we might consider having Colorado Alpha
reoccupy the house at 1005 Broadway is fall 2027.
While nothing has been agreed to, Adrian confirmed that the next
step is to complete a new Chapter feasibility assessment, which has
been done. The next step is for HQ to contact the university.

Attend
If we do get the green light, it would be good to have a strong
showing at Conclave 2025, which will be held in Tampa, Florida,
on July 23-28, 2025. Please consider putting that on your calendar
now! We believe that engaged and educated mentors are the key to
keeping the Chapter healthy so we can enjoy another long period of
continuous operation.
Give
Strong alumni support, particularly on Founders Day of Giving this November 1, is crucial. Contributing to the CO Alpha Willenbrock BMS

Learning from Other Efforts
Chuck will also be working with Adrian and the Berkeley AVC on a fall 2024 restart of California Alpha, and we are carefully watching the
expansion efforts at Illinois, Michigan, and Oregon to learn what works and what doesn't.
