Additionally, at the Atlanta Carlson Leadership Academy, our Chapter received the Talent Power Award for outstanding recruitment and the Donald C. McCleary Member Development Award for outstanding membership development and learning community accomplishments. We also received our sixth-consecutive Interfraternity Council Chapter of the Year Award at the University of Florida Greek Awards Ceremony in November—the first achievement of its kind at our university! Eighty-four undergraduate brothers—over half of the active Chapter—earned a fall GPA above 3.5. What an incredible feat. We are beyond proud of our men for standing out, showing their resilience, and working diligently no matter the circumstances. As we move forward, we are planning on finding new ways to engage alumni with our undergraduate brothers. For example, we have created a Chapter LinkedIn page, "Sigma Phi Epsilon Florida Alpha Chapter." We want to get our brothers more internship and career opportunities and use our resources to foster connections. This spring, we hosted our inaugural Florida Alpha Classic golf tournament at Turkey Creek Golf Club. The tournament consisted of over 30 alumni engaging with the undergraduate Chapter, and the event was very successful! The undergraduate brothers are looking forward to more events like this one and to continue to foster these valuable connections and relationships. S urf Frenzy is Florida Alpha's annual fall philanthropy, in which teams of brothers and sororities compete in a friendly lip sync and dance competition. Surf Frenzy supports children with Type 1 Diabetes and their families in attending a diabetes-friendly summer camp. Florida Diabetes Camp and SigEp are all about youth gaining confidence, skills, and knowledge to achieve their full potential. This year, we raised a grand total of $18,028—almost six times what we raised last year! Every penny was donated to FDC to support this upcoming year's summer camp. We look forward to hosting this great event once again in the fall and hope to make it even bigger than the year before! Surf Frenzy Rides a Wave of Sucess
