Construction on this historic castle began in 1890,
completed in 1913. After sitting empty for decades,
it was purchased in 2019 with a view to restoring it
to its glory days. At every stage of the renovation,
the new owners returned to the building's roots,
studying the German castle that inspired its design
in order to highlight its stunning details. Now the
castle provides a home that is beautiful and
functional, honoring its history and suitable for
modern-day living.

This historic 1936 bungalow underwent a thorough
transformation to accommodate the homeowner's growing
family – from an owner's suite, complete with new
bathroom and walk-in closet, to a relocated laundry and
remodeled hall bathroom. To maintain the home's
character, the windows, trim, and vertex-mingled brick
were matched while preserving the original wood flooring
and door hardware. Selections and finishes were carefully
harmonized to bring both modern elements and historical
details to the home.
