After living in an oversized home for many
years, this 927-square-foot structure,
previously used as office space and business
storage, became the homeowner's primary
residence. To account for the adjustments
that would undoubtedly come with
downsizing to a quarter of their accustomed
everyday space, every square inch of their
new tiny home had to be utilized effectively to
suit the family's needs, without compromising
their comfort.

AUSTIN, TEXAS
After years of neglect, this home
was a diamond in the rough that
was rescued by reconfiguring the
floor plan and adding an additional
bedroom and two bathrooms,
while making each space more
open and bright. Removal of
bamboo overgrowth revealed a
lovely private, park-like setting, and
in the end, this once-forgotten
house became a warm, welcoming,
gorgeous family home.
