You will never get these years back and you have so much time to figure out what you want to do. This is the only time you and all your sisters and friends will be in the same place and able to spend time together whenever you want." Her favorite memories of spending time with her sisters include hanging out in the tube room on weekend mornings and enjoying mac and cheese day. In addition to the friends and food, "Delta Gamma also gave me the opportunities to be a leader and gain confidence," she says. "I found something to be a part of and to anchor my identity in once I wasn't an athlete anymore." Abby stays in touch with several Delta Gamma sisters, including her best friend Taylor Sharp '15. "I was honored to be her maid of honor last year, and now she's expecting her first baby!" Abby lives in Kansas City, where she enjoys attending spin classes, cooking, reading, and watching reality TV.
