The Crescent page 2 S ince she was little, Anna Wynn Rodgers '12 knew she wanted to be a Tri Delta because of her family and friend connections; the wonderful personalities of the Delta Mu women further drew her to the sisterhood. Anna Wynn cherishes the friendships she made in Delta Mu, and the experiences she gained helped set her up for success as an event planner. During her senior year, she served as the member development chairman, where she planned events for the Chapter, including a lake day at NorthRiver Yacht Club and a trip to the movies. "We had great turnouts; it was fun getting the members involved and seeing them show up to activities they normally wouldn't attend," she said. After college, Anna Wynn took this event- planning experience to Nashville to serve as an executive assistant at Randi Events. While there, she helped organize events in everything from nonprofits like the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society Light the Night walk to the country music industry. Her claim to fame was the opportunity to design the Player Green Room that was on TV in the 2019 NFL Draft. Celebrating Sisters When Anna Wynn first started her career, she knew she wanted to stay away from wedding planning, as she didn't want to get involved with emotional brides. While at Randi, however, she quickly realized she loved the wedding side and building a relationship with brides and their families. When it was time to move on in her career, she moved home and started her company, Anna Wynn Event Designs. Along with other events, she has planned one rehearsal and six weddings for her Tri Delta sisters, including her biological sister. "It's an honor that they hired me to put on their big day, and it's been a lot of fun to reconnect with some Tri Deltas I haven't talked to in a few years." Coming Full Circle The weekend of February 3, 2023, Anna Wynn worked with Sara Luther Schilleci '90 to plan the 1989 pledge class's first reunion—and it was a success! Twenty- two women showed up on the first night and had a blast catching up with each other at their welcome party on the Westgate rooftop, complete with a charcuterie grazing table and a signature cocktail with a pansy as a garnish, which was a huge hit. On Saturday morning, Greek Ambassador Emilie Adams '21 gave a house tour, since many of the women had not yet seen the new house or the renovations that took place last summer. Their composites were also on display as they reminisced on their college days. When she's not working, Anna Wynn likes to take time to unwind by painting. She also loves hanging out with friends and taking her dog, Henry, on walks.
