BROTHERS LIKE US
SUPPORT EFFORTS LIKE THIS
W
e urge your thoughtful consideration of this plan. You
are the only one who can place a value on your DKE
membership—on the lifelong friendships you made, the
development of your values and principles, and the many
ways Psi Chapter enhanced your college years. The Psi
brothers who went before us made it possible for us to have
this experience. Your participation is absolutely vital to the
continued success of our fraternity.
TAX DEDUCTIBILITY
The University of Alabama will again allow for our building
project to be paid in tax-deductible dollars, with all gifts
made to the University and earmarked for DKE. When
a donor makes a tax-deductible gift to The University of
Alabama for the DKE project, it would be recorded and
reflected in his lifetime giving to the University.
Because of the magnitude of our objectives, we are
urging you to consider supporting this endeavor. For
each alumnus to maximize his participation, gifts can be
structured over a five-year pledge period; however, early
gifts are preferable to help reduce borrowing costs.
Together with our undergraduates, volunteer leadership of
the Delta Kappa Epsilon House Corporation is committed
to this major undertaking, which will allow us to—once
again—raise the standard by which others are measured at
The University of Alabama.
Thank you for being willing to share your thoughts on
the proposed project. You are among a select group of
brothers asked to shape our future, and we hope that
a brother like you will make sure Psi reaches its full
potential as we celebrate 175 years at Alabama.
