A Chapter of Excellence WPI and Theta Chi International Recognize Epsilon Chapter I hope that you are doing well! I am happy to update everyone on yet another successful year at Epsilon Chapter of eta Chi. COVID-19 has been an ongoing challenge for the Chapter, but this year brought the long-awaited return to normal for us. After nearly two years, Epsilon Chapter was finally able to return to hosting social events, which were welcomed with open arms by all. We look forward to continuing our adjustment back to pre-pandemic life and are excited to welcome alumni back to the house! At the end of each academic year, WPI announces its annual Chapter Excellence Awards. I am proud to share that Epsilon Chapter was the recipient of the 2022 Outstanding Alumni Programming Award and was also recognized on the honor roll for Outstanding Innovation and Outstanding Facilities. In addition to the Chapter awards, several members of our Chapter received individual awards. Bryan Lima '22 was the recipient of the 2022 Chapter President of the Year Award, Ardvasd Ardhaldjian '22 received the 2022 Greek Officer of the Year Award, and Bill Lucas '98 was the recipient of the 2022 Alan Okun Award for Excellence in Chapter Advising. In addition to WPI's Chapter Excellence Awards, Epsilon Chapter was also the recipient of the Chapter Excellence Award, given by the eta Chi Fraternity International Headquarters. is year was also a great year of growth for Epsilon Chapter, as we welcomed a class of 26 new members! is was the result of a great recruitment effort by Recruitment Chairmen Jack Fredo '23 and River Yan '22, as well as the entire house, as we were still battling the lingering restrictions of COVID-19 during recruitment. is effort was then furthered through the excellent new member education program run by Marshal Nathan Kumar '22 and Chaplain Jacob Yurcak '22. e class of 2025 has an incredibly bright future with the house, and many of them have already taken on leadership roles both on campus and within the Chapter! At the close of this academic year, the Chapter graduated 21 members of the class of 2022; these Brothers have played an instrumental role in our Chapter's success over the last four years, and they will certainly be missed next year! We wish them all the best in their undoubtedly successful careers as they move into the next chapter of their professional lives. I am incredibly proud of my Brothers for their efforts this academic year as they have worked to overcome the long-lasting difficulties of COVID-19, which has made us all stronger than ever! I am looking forward to the upcoming academic year, which I know will bring much more success as the Chapter continues to grow and flourish. We look forward to the bright futures in store for all members. Fraternally, Benjamin Watkins '23 Chapter President e new letters on the updated siding. e wooden letters facing Salisbury Street.
