Julia and Mary both married Betas. Julia is 95 and in good health. She resides in Tucson, Ariz. Email: moretones@gmail.com Rosemary Mahan Nixon '56 had four children before attending law school. She practiced law for 25 years before retiring, and she now quilts and leads a women's Bible study. Rosemary is now widowed, though her family has increased with 10 grandchildren and seven great- grandchildren. She lives in San Jose, Calif., near her youngest son and his three teenage boys. Email: missbruin@aol.com Barbara Pritchard Baker '64 recently lost her husband, Charles, following his long battle with Parkinson's disease. They were married 42 years, living in New York City and Greenwich, Conn., as well as their winter home in Rio Verde, Ariz. They traveled the world and shared their careers in the medical communications field. They ran the NYC Marathon together and enjoyed skiing in Aspen, golfing at Winged Foot Country Club and other courses across the country, listening to jazz, and spending time with friends and family. She resides in Osprey, Fla., and hopes to plan a gathering with any alumnae who winter on the west coast of Florida. She raises quarter horses, training and showing them. Her husband plans to sell his advertising business, and the two hope to travel around the country in their RV. They live in Flower Mound, Texas. She also serves on the firm's executive committee. She had a blast at the reunion in Dallas, Texas. Email: lagata727@gmail.com Cozy Venable Palmer '79 lives in Dallas, Texas, where she attended the 40th reunion of the 1979 pledge class and 1982 graduating class in January 2022. Of the 35 sisters, 15 showed up for a weekend of sisterhood that began with big hugs, photos, delicious food and drinks, and plenty of talking on Friday night. The weather on Saturday was perfect for alumnae sisters walking on the Katy Trail to the Ice House for lunch, while dinner was held at The Woolworth's private dining room, "The Library." The evening ended with singing and dancing, and sisters looking forward to the next reunion. "Like the sidewalk song said, 'If you want to be happy for the rest of your life, you've got to take Delta into your life. So, from our personal point of view, Tri Delta is the one for you!' Kristen Frazier Turner '82 was diagnosed with a hereditary lung disease (Alpha-1 antitrypsin deficiency) in 2016, so she pivoted into an early semi-retirement. Her family lost their youngest son to COVID, sold their business at Lake of the Ozarks, and moved to Florence, Colo., where the dry climate is better for Kristen. They are preparing to build their dream home while enjoying the view. Kristen enjoys visiting her oldest son in Cabo, where he and his wife live and work remotely.
