Our incredibly talented former president, Ava Tracy '18. Ava's dedication to Delta Xi is outstanding. Her determination through a virtual and in-person presidency is extremely admirable. Her legacy at Delta Xi will live on in all our members! ΔΔΔ page 3 T he women of Delta Xi welcomed the fully in-person year with open arms. Our sisters love and appreciate the time they get to spend together a little more because of the last two years. As we adapted to the new normal, we had another successful recruitment in the fall despite it being a hybrid model. We had a 97% return rate and brought home 71 new members through primary and COB recruitment efforts. For the first time in three years, Delta Xi had the privilege of hosting all three of our philanthropy events at full operation and capacity. In true Tri Delta fashion, we are proud to say that we remain one of the highest philanthropic contributors on Mizzou's campus. Between our annual softball tournament, Triple Play; our social media fundraising campaign, 24K in a Day; and our late-night dinner, DHOP, we are so excited to announce that we have raised over $45,000 for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. We are very thankful for our generous alumnae helping us reach our goals. In addition to relentless fundraising, our sisters continue to excel in academics and extracurricular activities. In fall 2021, we had 26 members who earned a GPA of 4.0, while 134 members earned a GPA of 3.5 or higher. Our chapter was able to award members who received a 4.0 with a Starbucks gift card to celebrate their achievement. Tri Delta was paired with Sigma Nu for Homecoming, and we had a blast embodying our theme of the video game Donkey Kong. This April, we competed in Greek Week alongside Delta Tau Delta with our superhero theme of Catwoman. The amazing women of Delta Xi have persevered through the hardships of these past two years with great confidence and tenacity. Our sisters continue to accept positions in the Sinclair nursing program, study abroad programs, internship opportunities across the country, law school, Panhellenic leadership, and so much more. We are thrilled to see what the future holds for the women of Delta Xi!
