Page 3 Sigma Phi Epsilon "I was returning from a trip to Tallahassee, Florida, for Florida Keystone's Law and Public Policy Day with Brother Parker Rossignol '24. I had been up for 18 hours and was completely exhausted and ready for bed when I noticed a text from Cicerone Zach Karpinski. In that text, Zach said, 'Would love to see you apply for Cicerones. Short applica- tion is due tomorrow; give it a shot.' For what- ever reason, I decided to apply and submitted it by 1:30 a.m. I really thought nothing of it and did not give myself a chance to become accepted as one of the university's official ambassadors. I was wrong. After making it to individual interview rounds along with six of my brothers, I received a phone call saying, 'Congratulations, you are now a Florida Cicerone!' I immediately shared the news with Zach and thanked him for his encouragement during the process. I soon learned two other brothers, Ryan Feocco '25 and Matthew Van Wert '25, were also accepted." "In going through the interview process, Zach's mentorship was crucial to allowing me to feel comfortable and trust my instincts. He prac- ticed interviews with me to ensure I would feel comfortable. This experience has allowed me to learn what brother mentorship really looks like. Moreover, having enjoyed the experience with two of my brothers has made it espe- cially valuable. Cicerones is a highly selective process, and it is a huge accomplishment that our Chapter has had three brothers accepted. I wanted to take the time to thank Zach for his help and say congratulations to both Ryan and Matt!" –Will Munro '24 HigHligHting BrotHers B rothers of Sigma Phi Epsilon strive to be successful throughout their time in Florida Alpha—to use the experience, character, and connections cultivated during their time as active brothers to be at the top of their prospective future endeavors. Ethan is no exception. Brother Curtis has become a staple member of SigEp, developing strong connections far beyond his own class to become the type of man every brother has a fond memory of. When asked about some of his favorite memories in SigEp, Ethan could go on for hours reminiscing. Some of the highlights include meeting his current girlfriend of three years through a brother, living in-house with some of his best friends, and coaching the Chapter's intramural basketball team. In the next few months, Ethan is headed to Austin, Texas, to begin his career as a business technology solutions analyst for Deloitte. He will be helping government organizations be more cost efficient by identifying and implementing technological solutions to everyday issues and procedures. Ethan's hunger for success is evident in the goals he has set for himself in this new chapter of his life. "My goal is to be a complete expert in what these folks need. I want to be the most valuable asset on the team," Ethan said. Fond MeMories and a BrigHt Future For etHan Curtis '22 tHank you, ZaCH karpinski '22!
