Saturday, July 20, 2013 – Daily News 5A Agriculture farm & ranch Proud of Red Bluff's hall of famer I had planned to use the PRCA press release for the 2013 ProRodeo Hall of Fame induction of Joe Baumgartner, our Red Bluff Hall of Fame inductee but Red Bluff Daily News staff writer Andre Byik wrote the story on July 16 on the front page. We are so proud of Joe. When Bill and I were in Las Vegas for the Wrangler National Finals Rodeo (WNFR) there were life size posters of Joe in many of the casinos. I first met Joe in Quincy in the 80's at a California High School Rodeo state finals. He was a teenager starting to fight bulls, John Growney was the stock contractor, Harvey Camacho had brought the cattle, Don Kish had the bulls, Lloyd Faria was a pickup man and a District 1 CHSRA state director.
