DELTA PSI NEWS Kappa Kappa Gamma • Texas Tech University Fall 2021 Get Involved in the Lubbock Alumnae Association Today! Sisters Are Thrilled to Gather Once Again T his has been a great year for the Lubbock Alumnae Association! Aer the uncertainties we've encountered as of late, it's refreshing to get together regularly once again. ere is no greater joy than gathering, sharing memories, and strengthening our connections with one another. We had a great kickoff at the home of Shanna Hagler Garth '87 in September aer a long drought of no in-person activities. We've been thrilled to celebrate Founders Day as well as honor our long-term sisters with 50-year pins and 65-year pins for their loyalty and dedication to the chapter. Delta Psi has certainly been making the most of being able to meet again; we even came together in October for a chili dinner to reminisce and plan our next move in the alumnae association. It has been wonderful reuniting with our sisters already, and we have many more gatherings planned in the coming months. We look forward to getting together to collect donations for our Holiday Rose celebration through the Rose McGill Holiday Program followed by our Christmas party in the home of Catherine Spoonts Porter '70. We hope that many of our alumnae can join us to celebrate the season! Strengthening old Kappa relationships and creating new ones from sisters all across the country who now live in Lubbock is one of our greatest joys. If you live in the Lubbock area, please consider joining and becoming active in the Lubbock Alumnae Association. Email us at kkglubbockalumnae@gmail.com for more information on how to get involved!
