B y popular demand, Arrow Talk is BACK! The collegians and Chapter House Corporation (CHC) are excited to share all the wonderful things happening at Oklahoma Beta. CHC has been busy keeping up with necessary updates and repairs throughout the house. Recent examples include: • Updated Wi-Fi system. • Updated surveillance cameras. • Provided monthly fogging to stop spread of COVID-19 along with hand sanitizer stations. • Completed necessary roof repairs. • Updated formal and card room furniture. • Purchased new outdoor games with Pi Phi theme. • Purchased new copier for study hall. • Updated/repaired HVAC following cold temperatures in February. • Replaced bushes that were lost due to cold snap. Besides normal chapter house maintenance, upcoming projects will include additional outdoor lighting that will provide improved safety for our collegians and highlight our house. I hope you are excited for the return of Arrow Talk. Future newsletters will arrive in the fall and spring — one per semester. Each release will include an update from our Chapter President, a feature on a special Oklahoma Beta alumna and, of course, pictures of our collegians enjoying campus activities. Please keep your address, email and other personal information up to date at pibetaphi.org/profile; we use this as our database for mailing. On behalf of CHC and the collegians, we welcome any ideas for things you would like to see included in this publication. Feel free to reach out to me with questions or ideas. Many of the contributions still help her today, such as conflict resolution, teamwork, goal setting, time management, event planning, fundraising and communication skills.
