Washington Alpha Delt Washington Alpha Delt e e A PUBLICATION OF THE PACIFIC NORTHWEST ALUMNI OF ALPHA DELTA PHI • SUMMER 2021 Built to Last Committee Outlines New Lofty Goals Join the Excitement of the Most Successful Greek Campaign in the Pac-12! A s you know from prior communications, a large and growing group of our alumni and friends of AD Phi has been regularly meeting via Zoom. e purpose is to ensure that when our new Chapter House is cmpleted that it is a state-of-the-art structure and fitted out with furniture, fixtures, equipment (FF&E), and other accessories. It's vital that our new Temple be fully operational, tastefully appointed, and move-in ready during the 2022 winter quarter. To accomplish this, the Many Hands, One Heart (MHOH) campaign has morphed into the Built to Last (BTL) campaign that is still ongoing. e combined total effort is the single largest capital campaign ever conducted by any fraternity or sorority in the Pac-12. Please take a few moments to visit our BTL social media pages and website. Make sure you spread the word about them as well when you reconnect with your Brothers. It's pivotal that all Brothers join the positive energy and satisfaction of experiencing what our collective investment of time, talent, and (Continued on page 2) capital are developing. If you have already donated to either the MHOH or BTL campaigns, thank you! If you are inspired by the progress, please consider making an additional gi. If you haven't yet donated, please act now. No donation is too small and many of the financial donations are tax deductible. We are now setting up guided in-person tours of the construction so everyone can see and experience the facility as it is being built. ese tours will be held weekly as we work our way through the alumni lists. You will be informed of opportunities to join a tour. It is still an active construction site, so size is kept to small groups. We also offer monthly virtual tours through Zoom and Instagram. e Eells Cup this year is still in the planning stage, but the goal is to attract alumni, actives, parents, and friends of AD Phi and have a field of up to 144 golfers. Following the Eells Cup, there will be a separately ticketed reception/dinner/silent and live auction, which we hope will attract a much larger group of non-golfers (300-plus people). Everyone who is an Alpha Delt, parent, or friend of the Washington Chapter is welcome. All funds raised will go toward the BTL campaign. Please stay tuned for more information and details on the Eells Cup and the reception/dinner/auction that will follow.
