page 9 | University of Missouri A lready recognized by Alpha Chi National Headquarters for its leadership in diversity and inclusion efforts, Alpha Nu Chapter has incorporated additional new action items to educate members and advance diversity and inclusion in the chapter. According to Meg Dailing '17, chapter president, the chapter added a diversity position within the chapter and formed a committee in January 2020. Since then, the committee has presented three educational programs to the chapter, including one during Sisterhood Week prior to recruitment, on inclusive language during recruitment. In late May and early June, after the death of George Floyd in Minneapolis, the chapter used Instagram to communicate their stand against racism. As a follow-up, the chapter made accommodation for members and others to donate to several social justice causes or organizations of their choice and pledged to match the donations up to $2,000. All of the monies were pledged.
