Public Relations Chairman Ben Sloan '19 Ankeny, Iowa O n November 14, 2019, the Scholarship Awards Dinner was held at the ATΩ chapter house to honor 17 undergraduate brothers who achieved scholastic success during the spring 2019 semester. As a group, they achieved a GPA of 3.47. In addition to focusing on their academics, these brothers were active within the chapter and participated in many campus activities and organizations. Congratulations to all of the scholarship recipients for their outstanding academic success and contributions to Gamma Upsilon and Iowa State. In the last Tau Talk, we announced the Chris Diaguila Strive for Achievement Scholarship would be created in honor of Chris Diaguila '17 for the significant contributions he made to Gamma Upsilon while attending Iowa State. His achievements were capped off by winning the 2019 ATΩ Thomas Arkle Clark Award last summer at the ATΩ National Convention. I am happy to report that we have raised $5,625 toward our goal of $25,000 to $50,000. Your donations to this effort will enable us to endow the scholarship so that one to two scholarships per year can be awarded to high achieving undergraduate brothers. Please consider donating to the Chris Diaguila Strive for Achievement Scholarship, general scholarships fund or for chapter house improvements. Donations can be made by check, payable to the ATΩ or ISU Foundation. In the check memo, please indicate which of the three fundraising targets you'd like your contribution to be applied.
