Page 4 What do you feel like you gained from being a member of ΣΑΕ? Scott: Being a part of ΣΑΕ gave me some of my best friends and the confidence to become the best version of myself. Jeff: Lifelong and meaningful friendships, with people who now live all over the world. It's a relief when you can go somewhere new, or even familiar (like at home in the Bay Area with Adam and Scott), and know that there are brothers there to grab a drink with and catch up. Adam: ΣΑΕ helped me figure out who I wanted to be and the type of people I should surround myself with. It filled my college experience with friends that were equally role models. What are some of your favorite memories of ΣΑΕ? Scott: Pledgeship is a favorite memory, especially so as one of the last classes to experience it. Jeff: Once I gave up hockey to go to college, I never thought I would play in a game that was as fun and competitive as I had when I was growing up. But playing and winning the intramural semifinals for floor hockey against Phi Psi was possibly my career highlight. A big group of guys from the house came out to support us, they were loud and pretty obnoxious… the best home ice crowd you could ask for. It was a blast and something I will never forget. Adam: My favorite ΣΑΕ memory is storming the field with the boys when our football team beat OSU at home. It was the Tyler Trent game. What degree did you earn from Purdue? Scott: B.S. mechanical engineering with honors, certificate in entrepreneurship and innovation. Jeff: B.S. mechanical engineering, minor in electrical engineering, certificate in entrepreneurship and innovation. Adam: Biomedical engineering. What is your role at Apple? Scott: Mac Product Design Engineer, directly responsible individual for Mac Pro Expansion Modules. Jeff: Mac Product Design Engineer. Adam: Biomedical Studies Engineer, coordinating research efforts for Apple's health and wellness products. What do you enjoy doing in your free time? Scott: I spend most of my free time playing rec golf, tennis, soccer and softball. Jeff: I play golf and ice hockey. I also enjoy snowboarding and making the occasional trip to one of California's many wineries. Adam: I play recreational basketball, soccer, and softball. I also enjoy hiking, beaching, going to concerts, traveling, and grabbing drinks with friends in downtown San Francisco or San Jose.
