Always Alpha Phi 4 M y name is Kellie Bethel Kanoy, University of Central Missouri '11, and I'm the new Omicron Chapter Advisor. I grew up in the small town of Glasgow, Missouri, which is about 45 minutes from Columbia. I was a member of the Theta Lambda Chapter of Alpha Phi at UCM from the fall of 2011 to the fall of 2015. While a member of the chapter, I held the positions of Guard, Director of Academics, and Director of Finance. I graduated UCM in the spring of 2016 with a master's of accountancy and started my career as an Auditor with BKD in Kansas City. In September of 2018, I moved to our forensic and valuation services department as a Forensic Senior Consultant. Since graduating and starting my career, I married my husband, Brandon, in September 2017, and we moved into our first house with our cat, Oreo. We both have a love for traveling. We went to St. Lucia for our honeymoon and got certified in scuba diving. We then took a trip to the Bahamas a little over a year later for another scuba trip. In the past couple years, I took an invested interest in fitness and became a Certified Personal Trainer. While I haven't made a transition into this industry, I am excited to be able to help others live a healthy lifestyle. This past year, I not only started a new adventure as the Omicron Chapter Advisor, but I also became a first- time mom-to-be. Brandon and I are excited for this new adventure and can't wait to welcome our first bundle of joy in July 2020. I am excited and honored to begin this journey as the Omicron Chapter Advisor.
