Disco-themed Bid Day Delivers 64 New Sisters to Delta Upsilon Fall Semester Filled with Fun Activities T his past semester was a fun and exciting one for the members of Delta Upsilon. We had an amazing recruitment, led by Vice President of Membership Stacey Pukala '16. On our disco-themed Bid Day, we welcomed home 64 new members. Our new members then spent the next six weeks learning all about Sigma Kappa in preparation for their initiation on October 20. Between Homecoming and Delta Upsilon's 60th anniversary celebration, we enjoyed catching up with many of our alumnae this fall. Stacey Pukala '16 represented us on Homecoming court. We also had a mixer with our Homecoming pairings at Urban Air Trampoline Park and participated in a variety of fun games and activities. Another memorable event this semester was Dad's Day, which was organized by Bella Orlando '17. We rented out a vintage arcade in downtown Springfield and spent the day playing games and having fun with the important men in our lives. Our campus intramural teams had a lot of success this fall. The women of Delta Upsilon made it to the championship game in volleyball and won the championship soccer game for the second year in a row. Overall, the fall 2019 semester was one for the memory books and we are so excited to see what the spring semester has in store!
