8 | r e d f c u.o r g I N O U R C O M M U N I T I E S Redstone introduced its Adopt-A-School Program in 2018 to create an avenue for employees to build stronger relationships with students, faculty and staff at area schools. And the initiative has brought smiles to everyone involved. irty-one Redstone branches and Program departments now participate. ese teams volunteer at schools throughout the area – from Arab to Murfreesboro – and serve as lunch buddies, field day helpers, guest speakers, mentors, and so much more. e Adopt-A-School is just one of many educational outreach programs that Redstone operates. Another that directly impacts students and their families is its scholarship program. Redstone is pleased to announce that Northeast Alabama Community College has joined Redstone's list of partner schools. Northeast Alabama Community College is a public college near Rainsville, AL, with a student enrollment of 3,000. Since 1996, Redstone's scholarship program 1 has provided money to students attending two- year and four-year colleges. Students receive $5,000 each.
