"Every swipe of the card gives back to the school," Alvarez says. One of the early beneficiaries of the program is Free 2 Teach, a non-profit that provides free resources to teachers, their students and their classroom. Applicants must be accepted to or enrolled in an accredited college or universit y to qualify for the scholarship. Applicants must be pursuing an associate's or a bachelor's degree. Must be eligible for membership and open a share savings account to join RFCU and become a member. A minimum balance of $5.00 is required to open share savings account and be maintained in share savings account at all times.
