5 Frater Updates Daniel Nelson '18 E-2334 and Jeff Nelson '19 E-2383, sons of David Nelson Jr. '77 E-1256, were proud to continue their family's TKE legacy at Iowa State. Daniel is a sophomore in engineering and Jeff is a freshman in engineering. James Kerschinske '83 E-1437 ran into Jim Beasley '67 E-916 at Branson Hills golf course in Branson, Mo., not realizing they were both Tekes. Frater Beasley noticed an ISU Cyclone head cover on Frater Kerschinske's driver, which started a conversation between them. After a few minutes they discovered they were both in Epsilon Chapter 17 years apart. It's a small world! Michael Beals '07 E-2051 was recently elected to the TKE Grand Council as Grand Crysophylos. He is the fifth Epsilon Chapter Frater to be elected to the Grand Council. A graduate of TKE Leadership Academy XXII, Michael was named a Top Teke Recruiter in 2009, Top Teke in 2010, and has received the Bruce B. Melchert and Ronald Reagan Leadership Awards from TKE Educational Foundation. Daniel Nelson '18 E-2334 and Jeff Nelson '19 E-2383 sport their TKE onesies in 2002. Tayler Nguyen '15 E-2253 and Romon Thach '15 E-2244 celebrate our first-place finish in Lip Sync with members of Alpha Phi. Jacob Neumann '18 E-2238, Danny Partida '18 E-2325, Dan Nelson '18 E-2334, and Alex Pickhinke '17 E-2313 play hockey during Ash Ave Festival.
