Chi Omega T he Lambda women are glad to be back in Lawrence for another school year! Our Chapter had a phenomenal end to our spring semester, and we look forward to continuing the momentum this fall. We are ecstatic to announce that in the spring semester our Chapter achieved a 3.63 GPA, compared to the all- Panhellenic average of 3.44 and the all-women's average of 3.3. This achievement earned us the Top of the Hill title. We are beyond proud of our members' dedication to upholding scholarship throughout their college experience. In April, our Chapter was awarded KU Panhellenic Chapter of the Year at KU's Sorority Fraternity Life awards. Additionally, Chi Omega nationally recognized us with the Chapter of Excellence award. It was an incredible honor to be presented with these awards. These distinctions would not have been possible without the tireless work of our executive board, Cardinal Cabinet, and advisors. In August, we welcomed over 1,000 potential new members into our home during KU's formal fall recruitment. Our recruitment chairman, Sydney Dahlgren '18, organized an incredible work week and recruitment week. The time and energy she dedicated to our Chapter was instrumental in our success of welcoming home a new class of 70 women. Last semester we had a successful spring Wish Week planned by Philanthropy Chairman Ashleigh Bickford '18. We are happy to share that our Chapter now has the pleasure of helping grant a Wish Child's wish. This fall, we will be sending a 4-year-old little girl to Disneyland. We look forward to throwing her Wish Party as a send-off for her trip. As always, we are so appreciative of the love and support we receive from our alumnae.
